With the of the summer transfer window finally over and done with, we look at teams who ended up doing well during the last few months and those who haven't.
Winners
Leicester City- Despite losing N'Golo Kante to Chelsea, they were able to hold on to the likes of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez, while also getting Islam Slimani from Sporting Lisbon, adding depth into the attack of the defending Premier League champions.
Manchester United- A new look side at Old Trafford was surely expected from fans with the arrival of former Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho and he did not fail to impress. Huge signings such as the egocentric Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and French midfielder Paul Pogba, who ended up becoming the world's most expensive player.
Manchester City- As if it couldn't get any better for the industrial city in Northwestern England, it did with the Citizens. Wholesale changes came following the departure of Manuel Pellegrini for Pep Guardiola. In that time span during the summers, players such as Nolito, Claudio Bravo, Leroy Sane and John Stones arrived to the Etihad looking to become a force in world soccer.
Losers
Southampton- This was yet another summer of big exits for the Saints with the departures of Sadio Mane and Victor Wanyama and exciting replacements coming in such as Nathan Redmond and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, but unfortunately could have been better for the Premier League in this transfer window,
Everton- The Toffees may have done a bit of business transfer window and despite keeping star player Romelu Lukaku, but can really shot themselves in the foot when they failed to get Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko on the final day, who ended up going to Tottenham Hotspur.
Swansea City- The Welsh side became a side that had a lot of departures such as strikers like Eder, Andre Ayew and it will be a very open space up front. Needless to say, new Spanish striker signings Fernando Llorente and Borja Baston will be required to adjust to the Premier League very quickly in order to stay safe for another season.
