From Carolina to California, you have probably heard all the buzz surrounding it. It’s was big 5-0 for the Superbowl, and here is why you should have been watching it, even if your team didn’t make it all the way to the end.
1. The Cam vs. Peyton battle
With this being possibly Peyton Manning’s last game, all eyes are on him, and this could be a very iconic win for his ending of his football career. However, Cam has been doing quite well this season himself. With losing only one game during the regular season, Cam and his Dab also prove to put up a great fight for that sought after trophy. Most Panthers fans currently believe that “we Cam, and we will,” but you can’t predict what exactly will happen.
2. Commercials
If you ask anyone about the best commercials on the television, more than likely they will tell you they air during the Super Bowl. You can find Budweiser showing you that a horse can actually be a man's best friend, and also Volkswagen showing you a little child that has a lot of force. Both do great things for the companies, and also bring a lot of buzz into the Super Bowl as well.
3. Getting together with friends and family
There is generally a Super Bowl party in almost every family during this special Sunday. Getting together with friends and family on a couch with the television in front of you is a great way to catch up, and to just spend quality time together. Being surrounded by friends and family while you obnoxiously yell at the team like they can hear you can never bring you guys any closer.
4. Food
With these get-togethers, you will normally also find some food involved as well. I mean, who wouldn’t enjoy food? It helps keep you full, and also can give you something to do while you become nervous as your team screws up what could have been a perfect touchdown. Food also helps keep a conversation going and allows you to be able to have something else to pay attention to too if you just aren’t so interested in the game.
5. Halftime show
The halftime show is one of the utmost sought-after performances that an artist would like to do. It generally can put them on the map if they aren’t already there. We all remember when Beyonce landed up having a blackout at one Super Bowl a few years ago. These performances can become very serious and definitely allow you to let lose from the game and have a little bit of fun. It’s like a mini concert performance in a short amount of time, and you definitely wouldn’t want to miss that this year!
So, folks, there you have it, the five big reasons why you should have watched the Super Bowl. It certainly proved to be an interesting game and gave me some great memories to take back with me, and hopefully it did the same for you!
But, until next football season, always remember:
Play Ball!
