Siblings usually police what you do and don't want to get involved, whether it's good or bad, but your cousins will join in on your plot no matter what it is. For younger cousins, this might be having an extra piece of candy before dinner; for older cousins, this might be staying out late at a party.

I go to my cousins quite a lot for advice. One of my cousins is my age and the other is two years older. They have grown to be like my brothers. We're very close, so of course I trust the advice that they give me.

3. Visiting your cousins is more like a choice instead of a requirement.

Siblings, you have to live with, and you're stuck in a house with them. On the other hand, you can always go to your cousins' house whether you want to hang out with them or escape from your siblings.

Not all of us live down the street from our cousins and get to see them every day, but when we do see them, it is guaranteed to be a good time. You and your cousins instantly click, kind of like you all haven't gone a single day without seeing each other.
