The world we live in is not what it should be.
And no, this isn't a matter of "Making America Great Again." We need to make the world human again.
There is no surprise when something devastating happens in someone's life. Sob stories are just unfortunate events that add to a statistic. People who do bad things are just somebody who had to snap sometime.
We see news stories of pedophiles, rapists and other criminals getting off with little to no jail time, and we just think "Oh, there goes another one."
We make fun of the less fortunate because we are able to sit on a pedestal and watch their downfall. We see people hurting and make no effort to save them. We "feel" for others but make no effort to reach out and actually make a difference.
And the groups that we do make to help others that are less fortunate or oppressed, only ends up making things worse by destroying property, which makes others hate the group more.
Even though it is only a small fraction of the group that do these horrendous things, they are the small fraction that gets attention in the media. They are the ones that influence others. People see them as the spokespeople of the group, even when they aren't.
Bad people get the attention that good intentions need, which just spreads the hate and negativity that affects the world that we live in.
Our politicians don't help. This is more than just Trump or Clinton. This is every person in power in every country.
This is more than all of that.
This is about every person that lives in this world that we call Earth.
Without anyone willing to see eye to eye or even have a decent discussion, there will never be any peace in the world. There will be no want for peace.
People need to be willing to have discussions without rage quitting or name calling. People need to have decent debates without implying that someone's hand size means something else.
Like, seriously, these are the leaders of out country.
We can't judge people based on the clothes they wear or the way they style their hair. We need to pay attention to the policies that are in place and weigh every option available.
Many people will tell you that this is not the race to pay attention to third party people, but every race should be about all of the people.
Because us, as people, deserve the best chance to create a better future and we cannot do that without weighing every option possible.
Every option in every country, with every people, down to the single person.
We need to better the world. We need to be better.
And it starts with you.
