We’ve all been there. Life is hard; there is no denying it. Whether it's school, work, parents, relationships, friends, or sorority there always seems to be something. You tell your “person” you can’t do it anymore, or that you’re losing your mind. If you haven’t been in college more than a year, or in the real world, and haven’t said it at least once to yourself, I assume you have rainbows coming out of your bottom.
It’s okay to feel like you want to give up, move to Disney World and be Cinderella your entire life. Until you face the real world with strength and agility, you are hiding behind yourself. Fill your head with positive vibes. Don’t let the feeling of being overwhelmed, stressed, or sad bring you into a place that is so hard to get out of. Turn to someone -- whether it is God, your best friend, your roommate, your parents, even a counselor -- you need someone.
Don’t go through that feeling of giving up alone. Your life has purpose. Your life has meaning. The stress you feel now, the emotions, the anger -- it will go away. Don’t give up on yourself. A positive mind and a positive soul will go a long way, and it is amazing how much your life can change by deciding to throw out the negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones. Don’t give up, even when it’s the only feeling you have. Fight through it.
