With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, it is hard not to think about the one you love and all the reasons why you love them. Some love Valentine’s Day and some hate it, but no matter what, it is hard to avoid. The best way I could think to explain why I love my boyfriend is by writing down a few of the many unique reasons why he makes me fall in love with him every single day.
1. I love that we can have a random water fight in the house.
It all starts off as something innocent and then turns into World War III after the first five minutes. We are both competitive and don’t go easy on each other.
2. I love that we are perfectly content being silent.
You can be playing "Call of Duty" and I can be reading my Nicholas Sparks book and just knowing you are next to me is enough. We don’t have to be constantly talking (even though you know I like to talk), we are happy just being near one another.
3. I love that we have a system of who loves who more.
I love you more on even days and you love me more on odd days. Once again we are both very competitive and you are one of the most stubborn people I know (and no don’t even think that I am more stubborn ;) and that is why we created this system.
4. I love that I can’t stay angry at you.
Sometimes I want to be so mad at you, but then you start mocking me (which should make me angrier) and I can’t help but laugh because you can be so ridiculous. Thanks for easing the tension in an argument, even when I want to beat you up.
5. I love that you make me a better me.
You are always encouraging me at the gym and in my life. I am a healthier me when I am with you and I am a more determined and ambitious me because of you. Thanks for always believing in me and being my biggest cheerleader.
6. I love that you support me in everything that I do.
Even though I am busy, you still express how proud you are of me. You don’t ever get jealous or angry with me when I am busy with school, work, and all of my extracurricular activities. You understand this is me. I am constantly busy and always wanting to do more, and you understand me.
7. I love that I wake up to good morning texts reminding me that I am beautiful.
My entire day can be changed by a simple text message from you when I wake up in the morning. You are the first person I think of when I go to sleep and the first person I think of when I wake up.
8. I love that you are my best friend.
I love I can dress up and go on a date with you, but I also love that I can wear my pajamas while watching a movie and eating popcorn. I love we can have a full on wrestling match and act like children together. I love that you will play card games and board game for hours because you know how much I love them. I love that I fit perfectly in your arms and most importantly I love that you love me.
