If you are isolated because of COVID-19, or any other situation, try a few of these activities to stay sane.

1. Watch shows/movies/videos

Just curl up and watch some Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, or any other streaming service. You can start a new series or find something totally new! Also, there's nothing wrong with scrolling through YouTube or watching good old cable TV.

2. Read a book/Listen to a podcast

I understand if you don't have a physical book to read, but there are other options! You can read an e-book, listen to podcasts, or listen to an audio book.

3. Listen to some music

Listen to all your favorite songs and dance around in your underwear! Who cares!

4. Bake something!

If possible, bake some cookies, brownies, cake, or anything else that your heart desires because there's no one to tell you no!

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
