1. You love the combo of noodles, cheese and chili

This is the most important quality of a Cincinnatian. Especially going to a school where they don’t have a Skyline, it can be a real struggle. We love to brag about this amazing restaurant, but everyone else loves to hate on it. Most of us keep a stock of Skyline Chili cans and oyster cracker packs.

2. Your high school pride was a little excessive

Even after you are graduated, you seem to stay in touch with your sports teams and what their stats are. We still keep some of our school spirit wear even in college and wear it proud. When you find out someone is from Cincinnati, you love to talk about your high school experience and see if you have any of the same friends.

3. You have to deal with the struggle of losing sports teams

The Bengals and The Reds… it can be a huge love hate relationship. We love our teams and will still wear their jerseys and attend the games. Perhaps one day the Bengals will win a Super Bowl, either way we will support them all the way. Last but not least, you have a hatred for the Steelers. Any mention of the team's name will ensure for a debate about their players and how they are cheaters. (Which they are.)

4. East Side vs. West Side

Whether you were born on the east side of Cincinnati or the west side, you loved to compare each other and debate who was the best. It was a true rivalry when we were in high school. A common question that you always asked someone from Cincinnati was “Are you from the east side or west side?” There are, of course, the typical stereotypes for each side, but at the end of the day if you’re from Cincinnati we all have a lot in common.

5. Festivals

Most of the Catholic churches in Cincinnati would hold the best festivals with rides, games and great food. Another great hang out for everyone to meet up, and they were definitely a yearly tradition when they came around in the fall. Buying tickets to play either ring toss or win raffle baskets was definitely a necessity.

6. Kings Island

If you are from Cincinnati you most likely had a season pass and would go almost every day growing up. I lived five minutes away from Kings Island and practically lived there. Whether we went in the summer for the waterpark and the roller coasters, or during the fall for Halloween Haunt, it was always a great place to meet up with friends.

7. Graeter's

The most amazing ice cream that you will ever taste in your life is Graeter's Ice Cream. Especially their most popular flavor, Black Raspberry Chip. Our mouths start watering at the thought of getting a double scoop of our favorite ice cream. Definitely another restaurant that we must visit when we come home from college.

8. Taste Of Cincinnati

This is one of the best weekends in Cincinnati because all of our favorite foods are within walking distance. It’s held every Memorial Day weekend and thousands of people attend every year. It has even been recognized as Food Event of the Year in the past. They have up to 40 restaurants that set up vendors and sell their best food they have. There is even a music festival along with it, what a great combo of delicious food and great music.

9. Riverbend

This was where we went for all our summer country concerts and rap concerts. People would tailgate across the street then walk over together for some great music. It was an outdoor facility that has had many great artists come such as Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Wiz, Drake and many more.

10. Cincinnati Zoo

All I have to say about this one is Harambe. RIP.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
