Twitter has always been the place where we beat out the 140 characters to be witty. 90% of the time it works, other times its about as good at Clemson was during the #TROYvCLEM game- awful and in need of help.

It's a well known fact that the Trojan community is still pretty salty about the September 10, 2016 game versus the Clemson Tigers. You didn't have to be watching the game to know what was happening. I was on my way to Atlanta for a Braves baseball game with my sorority sisters, and Twitter was blowing up with updates on the game. It's not often a tiny Sunbelt Conference school holds their own playing the #2 SEC team in the nation. If I wasn't getting updates via the Twitter-sphere, I found loads of updates on Facebook between my Trojan friends and the live updates Facebook gave me at the top of my newsfeed.

Troy was trending on social media, and was even the top Twitter trend the day of the game. Whether it was just 'Troy,' #OneTroy, or #TROYvCLEM, the fans were responding. I combed through these feeds and picked out nine of my personal favorite salty tweets. Let it be known that the Troy Trojans are not to be messed with- just ask Clemson and their favorite ACC Refs.

1.

It's a fun twist to the Fight Song, don't ya think?

2.

Kermit has something to say about the game too, but that's none of my business.

3.

I guess all they could see was the orange and purple.

4.

You can't screenshot gifs, and I wanted to keep the authenticity of the tweet. If Kermit hadn't said it all, Hagrid did.

5.

Kudos to Coach Brown for Rebuilding the Wall and also remaining as professional as he did during the game. He's certainly a coach Troy will remember. Coach Brown led the Trojans to a victory in my books.

6.

Same girl, same.

7.

It'd honestly be better than any of the other option we have. NEAL BROWN 2016 YA'LL.

8.

I want to make this a poster and put it on my wall to get me through the rest of the school year. #inspiration

9.

I think we all know to settle this dispute we just need a rematch, but on Trojan turf this time. Are you up for the challenge Clemson?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

The best superpower ever? Being invisible of course. Imagine just being able to go from seen to unseen on a dime. Who wouldn't want to have the opportunity to be invisible? Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
