It’s an amazing feeling... Knowing at 19 years old that you found the one you want to spend forever with.

You’re still continuing to find yourself but you’re also growing as a person with someone else. You find the one you can picture your future with - marriage, family, everything. It’s all with this person that you can’t get enough of.

To the man of my dreams that I found at 19,

First, I just want to thank you. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me so far and I know you’ll continue to do for me through our future. I want to thank you for falling in love with me and having me fall in love with you.

You give me so many feelings; I’m not even sure where to start. When I look at you, I smile from ear to ear and get butterflies like there’s no tomorrow. Every time we lock eyes, the world stops and suddenly it’s just me and you. Every day I fall in love with you over and over again, and I’m so happy I do.

I’m so thankful that I’m the girl who can tell you I love you every day. The girl who falls asleep next to you every night and wakes up next to your sleepy face. I can just look at you every morning lying there asleep and I wonder how I got so lucky to have found you and to have an amazing guy by my side.

I’m thankful that the girls in your past didn’t work out. If they did, then I wouldn’t have found you and everything would be so different. You’ve impacted my life so much and in such a positive way. Before you, I was broken. My heart got torn out of my chest and thrown to the ground. Then, I found you, and you picked up every broken piece of me and put it back together so perfectly.

I can’t promise you everything will be perfect, but I’ll promise you that it’ll be worth it. There will be countless fights, hours of arguing, and even crying until you fall asleep. But, I can promise you smiles, laughs, and memories you’ll never forget.

Our relationship isn’t perfect, probably not even close. But I know that it’s worth it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
