As we wrap up our final weeks in school, it's sad to see our seniors leave us. These were the people we look up to, the ones who first showed us the ropes. So, thank you for that.
Thank you for your endless time and support. When I was a freshman on campus and had not an idea where my first class was, you were there to lead me on my way. And if you weren't there then, you were there sitting next to me in my first college class to show me the right way to take notes.
You told me everything would be OK when I bombed my first exam and congratulated me when I received my first A. Thank you for pushing me through those long nights with a cup of coffee at the library and wishing me the best on my final exams.
Your words of encouragement didn't stop there. You would always tell me everything would be OK when I was feeling down. The late night phone calls to catch up on the latest gossip from the night before, the funny texts or Instagram posts were all greatly appreciated.
And one last thing, thank you for being you. Your authenticity is what taught me to always be myself and everything else will fall in place. Because of you, I have met some of the best people I will continue to cherish for the rest of my life.
It's sad to see you go, but I will hope to be where you are in just a short amount of time. Although the time flew by, I will keep these memories with you in a very special place. As you leave us, I want you to know that I will hold on to our friendship beyond these past couple of years.
There aren't enough words I can put into one article to say how grateful I am for you. Your endless support and continuous advice is going to be missed dearly. So, with that being said, let's tip our hats to the graduating seniors and wish them good luck as they start a whole new chapter in their lives. Here's to celebrating a career you love, filled with people who will show you the ropes like you showed me.
