I AM an ARTIST at PURE LAZZINESS!

I’m pretty sure this isn’t a good thing but whatever; we all have lazy days. We all have been lazy at one point or another. This tutorial is just to make sure your doing it right. And I happen to be one of the laziest people I know!!! (Ask my family it’s a fact)

Here’s what we do.

1. Wake up, brush your teeth (I’m sorry, it’s a must to brush your teeth) anyway (shower, don’t shower whatever you want)

2. Grab (food substance to sustain life) cereal, chips, candy, ice cream (we don’t want anything too healthy) i.e. Dorito’s, snickers, sub sandwiches, m&m’s, twizzlers or whatever junk food you can think of)

3. Oh! And if you so happen not to have any snack food’s I strongly advise you to go buy some. Because a lazy day without substance is a day from hell.

4. Find a comfortable place to sit also make sure you choose a place that can easily be turned into a place of sleep. (Comfort is key you will be occupying that space for awhile)

5. GOSH!!!! I almost forgot make sure where ever you choose to sit, a TV must be able to be seen. (Prepare your DVR)

6. Make sure you have a good Wi-Fi connection and your laptop. If you don’t have a Netflix account get one! And if you don’t have a laptop meaning no Netflix well …. damn

7. Or you can scratch all that and sleep all day.

8. On the off chance that you would so happen to want to do something “Productive” with your lazy day. My suggestion would be to do something worth wild.

  • Go Hang with friends.
  • Take up a hobby.
  • Read a book (that’s my own personal favorite)
  • Find something to do in the city or hometown.
  • Or you could do whatever you see fit

I personally need lazy days to recoup and find my inner piece of the day struggle of Adult-ing. But that’s me. Feel free to do something with your time off.

Moving on: So you have your comfortable spot, your laptop, Netflix on, or DVR ready at the go! Yummy goodness in arm distances, I think you’re Ready!

OH yeah I forgot absolutely take no part in activities that involve physical or mental stimuli.

Ladies and Gentlemen you may not think this adds Value to your life. But I assure you it does. All work and no play makes life hard for Jack he doesn’t become a dull boy but a boy who doesn’t know how to chill. Well I can say that this adds value you to your life, do you know how many Full seasons of CSI or Criminal Minds or Law and Order or America Horror Story is on Netflix. (Come on that’s like amazing right!!!) Also being lazy for a day to helps you prepare for the Monday- Friday Dance. And there’s nothing wrong with catching up on sleep (am I right or am I right!)

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
