Tinder Talks: The 10 Men You're Bound to See
Answers From Men

The world of dating apps is an interesting place, and might be one that we keep secret. However, I think it's safe to say that as college students we have all dabbled in the realm of Tinder. It has provided many of us with good laughs, blackmail profile pictures, and probably slightly regrettable hook-ups. Whether you swiped left or swiped right, here are the 10 guys that we have all definitely seen while exploring Tinder.

1. The Rhino (male cougar)

When you forget to set an age limit, like I have forgotten to do, these men consume your feed like you just stepped foot into a retirement home. My favorite version has been a 65 year old man who exclusively wore kilts.

2. The "Fun Sized"

If he puts 6'2 in his bio but has no group photos on his profile, HE IS LYING.

3. The Baby Face

The boys that make you question if they want a date or someone to babysit them. Swipe left like your life depends on it.

4. The Fake Hipster/artist

The boy looks like he's stuck in the late 2000's fake-glasses-and-Bieber-hair phase. You may remember some of these from your middle school days.

5. The Creatine Powder Overdose

He looks like he spends more money on spray tans than he will on your dinner and/or he could wear a big bra size than you.

6. The Duff

DUFF: Designated Ugly Fat Friend. The tell-tale signs of these fellas are if there are absolutely no individual pictures, and there's always one guy who looks way too excited to be around pretty boys.

7. The Frat Bro

Letters, beer, half-naked girls, oh my! Any of these should raise a red flag, or at least a red solo cup, as you're swiping.

8. The De Ja Vu

These boys have not one but two or more Tinders hoping to double their chances of getting laid. Little do they know how awkward it is when you get them both in a row and have two consecutive left swipes...

9. The Catfish

Ladies: Zac Efron is not on Tinder. If you see a Google Stock picture, it's not because the boy's a model.

10. The Serial Users/Killers

You know you've found one of these when they slide in your dm's like they've been waiting to use a pickup line since birth.

Happy swiping!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
