Going to college, you decided to make the five and a half hour drive north leaving family and the "Bronco Nation" behind. While you will always be a Vandal there are things that you just can't help miss from Idaho's capitol. Here is my list of things I miss about Boise.
H&M
Shopping at the Moscow mall, you only have so many options. In Boise we thank God for the plethora of shopping opportunities. One of my favorite stores has got to be H&M not only can you find things with extra swag, but affordable prices!
The Foothills
From hiking table rock to just getting an awesome view, the foothills grow on you. It is basically Boise's backyard and it's everything. One second you're in the city, the next you're in the foothills.
Bogus Basin

Boise River
While during the winter the river becomes a freezing wasteland, you can't help but miss the Boise River. Walking around the green belt, regardless of the season, or floating about during summer is one of Boise's hidden treasures.
Concerts
Whatever band you love, you are more likely to see them pass through Idaho's capitol than the small town of Moscow. We will always be grateful for Macklemore, we just still yearn for more amazing music.
Downtown Boise
Frolicking the bars from Cactus to Fatties, getting Pie Hole, to shopping at Urban, we all miss downtown Boise. While we love our town of Moscow, nothing beats the hum of our state's capital.
Restaurants
While we all have our crowd favorites in Moscow their are so many more food finds in Boise! I for one cannot wait to go back to Guru Donuts. Check out my recent trip to Boise where I tried some food eats!
Lush
While going to the bars can be a perfect reward for a hard week of work, so can an amazing bath. Lush has bright bold bath bombs and other products you just can't find anywhere else.
Home
There are a million things I could think of that I miss from Boise. The biggest thing I miss is being home in the place that I know the most and have so much history in. I miss my home, where I grew up, where my family is.
As homesickness continues to grow, remember that home is only five hours away and that it's not going anywhere. While things may change, things in Boise will always be the same, if not better. (Have you been to the village?) So take your time driving back, and as the famous E.T. said, "go home."
