No, this article isn't about me praising some third party candidate coming out of left field.
No, this person won't fix it all, or really anything at all.
However, there is one man making sense of this election.
That man is Philip DeFranco.
(Awesome build-up, right?)
Philip DeFranco hosts a daily webshow, called the Philip DeFranco Show, on YouTube. He has almost 5 million subscribers, 1 million fans on Facebook and has built a brand for himself using YouTube as the initial platform. He covers general awesomeness, politics and current events. Being true to the content, DeFranco has gotten non-direct heat from YouTube for the things he talks about, being that most of his subject matter isn't "advertising-friendly." Meaning, some of his videos are ineligible for monetization since he talks about real issues and events.
He is a great voice of reason. He’s able to flawlessly cover both sides of everything, even when he feels strongly about something. Because of the timing, DeFranco is starting to talk more and more about this coming election, and for good reason. He tells it like it is and lays everything out on the table for his viewers to see and then form their opinions. We, the viewer, are allowed to form our own thoughts and the Philip DeFranco show is the platform to do so.
In this video, DeFranco goes over the first presidential debate. He's able to point out good and bad points from each party. DeFranco openly isn't voting for Hillary or Trump. He believes both of them would be poor choices for our country. I completely agree, and respect that he still informs us about them. As he said in a tweet, "it isn't my place to tell people who to vote for in the election. I give you info and you decide on your own."
This election is going to be one of the most important in recent years. I can't imagine what will happen with either of these candidates as the president of our nation. It's especially important to be well informed of whichever candidate you choose.
