When Donald Trump announced he was running for president back in June, many people played it off as a huge joke, nothing more than a publicity stunt.

For many people, the idea that Donald Trump would potentially be our next President didn't worry people as it does today. However, after many months, Trump's momentum shows no sign of slowing down. He's won more delegates than the few remaining Republicans and he has a huge lead in a large majority of the remaining states. The scary reality is that Donald Trump could win the nomination if his reign of terror continues into the coming weeks.

Now, what many people don't realize is that this is not the first time Trump has run of office. The real estate tycoon pitched an unsuccessful bid for president in 2000 when he ran under the Reform Party. This run for office was very unsuccessful for Trump and saw him give up very early on.

However, unlike in 2000, Trump is seen as the frontrunner for the 2016 Republican Primaries. After winning Nevada, Trump holds 82 delegates with the next two closest candidates, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, holding a mere 17 delegates.

Even with all of the memes and media slander against him, Trump still somehow comes out on top in the polls, with Rasmussen, USA Today, Fox News, and CBS all having Trump leading their polls by double digits. Trump's popularity is interesting in that all you seem to see about Trump on Facebook and on news websites is a negative attitude about him. However, all of this negativity seems to only help fuel his fire and helps keep him in the spotlight longer.

To many, Trump's anti-politician attitude is what draws them to support him. He is a businessman and therefore would try to run the country a little bit differently. Sure, a businessman would probably make a good president, but come on, there are many more respectable businessmen that would make a far better President than loudmouth Donald Trump. However, Trump's loud attitude and the fact that he is not scared to say anything is what some love about him.

To many, Trump is not scared to say what he wants. This, to some, is what makes a good leader. Trump, who already seems to be on good terms with Russian President Vladimir Putin, would not be scared to stand up to ISIS, North Korea, or Russia. This, along with the fact that he has simple answers to everything, is what makes Trump so popular, despite all of the slander.

Finally, when it all comes down to it, Trump is popular because there is no one strong enough to combat him. Of the few remaining candidates, Cruz and his Tea Party roots turn many voters away. Rubio just doesn't seem like a President, and John Kasich and Dr. Ben Carson never really had the momentum to take on Trump. When you look at it, no other members in the GOP race can really compare to Trump.

Trump is looking more and more like he may win the nomination. With endorsements from Chris Christie and Sarah Palin, the media tycoon and his semi-racist statements may very well be on their way to the White House. It could not be all that bad. Many of the things Trump wants to do would never pass through Congress. The best thing to do whenever you start to worry about Trump is to remember that a lot of the things he says are all talk.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
