Another year has practically come and gone, and that means the end of football season is among us. A few more regular season games lay ahead, and so do postseason games. However, with this being the week of thanksgiving and rivalry week, it's time we see all the true reasons we need to be thankful to be Clemson Tigers.

1. Death Valley

They do not lie when they say that 'there is something in these hills.' Once you go to Death Valley you will never be the same. Plus, when you hear the words "Death Valley", you do not think about some desert in California. We all know where the REAL "Death Valley" is.

2. Orange

Thankfully, being a Clemson fan has the perks of always being able to wear orange. I think there is connection to the fact that Clemson fans always seem happier than other teams. For example, if you had to wear that drab garnet and black all the time, you'd be pretty sad too.

3. Dabo

Dabo has become a staple at Clemson. He has transformed Clemson's football program into a powerhouse. Thankfully, Dabo is so much more than a football coach. He is a leader, motivator, and inspiration for the team as well as the whole Clemson family.

4. Family

It is extremely safe to say that Clemson is a family. You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us. On Saturdays we all come together to support one team, a team that ties us all together no matter the outcome.

5. Winning record against USC

It is always a great day to be a Clemson Tiger. Especially when you realize Clemson will always have the winning record against USC. At the end of the day, we will never be a Gamecock, and that is definitely something to be thankful for.

6. Deshaun Watson

Watson has become another face of the Clemson program. As fans we can all be extremely thankful for his talent, but most importantly we can be thankful for his attitude and heart. Deshaun is a humble and respectable young man, and we can all be grateful for the fact that he belongs to the Clemson family.

7. American spirit

Clemson has never been afraid to show its American spirit. We have had numerous members of the military play for us. We are so blessed and thankful to live in an amazing country, and to have players who sacrifice for us as well.

8. Tiger Rag

How can you not be thankful for "1 2 3 in cadence count.... C-L-E-M-S-O-N T-I-G-E-RRRRRRR-S FIGHT TIGERS FIGHT TIGERS FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!

9. Solid Orange Fridays

Honestly, Solid Orange Friday is one of my favorite days of the week. Thankfully this is just a warm up for Saturday. Solid Orange Fridays are a way to show just how much Clemson spirit we all have.. in one of the best colors out there. ORANGE.

10. BYOG

Bring Your Own Guts has become one of the best slogans Clemson has ever had. It is one that not only inspires players and coaches, but also Clemson fans. We can all be thankful for this slogan that reminds us to be the best we can possibly be, and to bring our own guts into everything.

11. The Rock

The Rock is one of the staples of Death Valley. It reminds us to stay focused and committed 110% of the time. Frank Howard said it best: "If you aren't going to give 110%, then keep your filthy hands off my rock!"

12. College GameDay

All college football fans can be thankful for ESPN and College GameDay. We as Clemson fans can be twice as thankful for the fact that it is no secret that College GameDay loves coming to Clemson, and who can blame them?

13. The Hill

Honestly, without The Hill, Death Valley would not be same. There is just something about The Hill that makes Clemson stand out from every other place, and that is something to be thankful for.

14. All In

If Clemson had to be described as having one thing... it would be safe to say it was heart. The Clemson family really is All In all the time and in every aspect. We can all say that Clemson players, coaches, and fans really do pour their whole hearts into Clemson.

15. The most exciting 25 seconds in college football

We wait for this moment all week. They honestly do not lie when they say Clemson's entrance is the most exciting 25 seconds in college football. Thankfully we don't just run through a tunnel of smoke.

So there you have it... 15 reasons to be thankful for being a Clemson fan. We all have reasons to be thankful for things in this life, but it is always a great day to be a Tiger.

I'll never forget the day that someone told me these words: "Madison, I think you're a good friend to everyone but yourself." I stood there completely in awe of that statement. Before that day, I never really thought about being a friend to myself, and at the time, I didn't really know what it meant.
