If there is one thing I have learned throughout my time in college, it’s that you need a strong group of friends by your side. Your friends are the people who will be there no matter what is going on in your life. Without my friends, I honestly don’t what I would have done so far. Here are some of the things I thank them for.
Not judging me when I eat an extreme amount of food at once.
Not being offended by my sarcastic comments.
Picking me up from random place at random times.
Going to the store with me when I don’t want to go alone.
Getting Starbucks with me when I am having a bad day.
Listening to my rants about absolutely nothing.
Watching movies with me on a Saturday night when we have no motivation to do anything else.
Laughing at my jokes that no one else finds funny.
Dealing with my random mood swings.
Eating a whole pizza with me at 3 a.m.
Not judging me for my shopping addiction.
Or Netflix addiction.
Never letting me live down the time I ran into a glass door.
Pushing me to be social when I don’t want to be.
Reading all of my papers for grammar errors.
Letting me borrow clothes when I cannot find anything to wear.
The tough-love when I need to be put in my place.
Understanding that sometimes I just don’t want to talk about it.
Not judging me for all my stupid comments.
Overall, thank you for being my friend. You have been there for me no matter what happens. Without you guys I would probably be in a ditch somewhere. You are all my people, and even though it took us 18 years to become friends, I am glad it happened. You are the people that push me to be the best I can be, and I thank you for that.
