On the date of August 30, 2016 Teddy Bridgewater was injured in practice.During practice he tore his ACL so his season is over for 2016.As well as doing that he also dislocated his knee during a drill. The injury was so bad that during practice they ended it for the rest of the day sine it was so gruesome. He is the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings were planning to build on a good season last year with making the playoffs. With Bridgewater improving they expected more for him as he progressed. Unfortunately he was hurt in practice so that will not be the case. Now that this has happened the Vikings have to figure out who will start when the regular season begins. On the other hand Bridgewater has to get surgery and need to recover from that. Tearing an ACL in any sport is hard to recover from. His current teammate Adrian Peterson had to deal with the injury a few years ago. He missed the whole entire season but he came back better than ever and was breaking records.

Having a teammate that went through the same thing can give him motivation and try to do his best. He can get advice on what to do and also just have a voice that is upbeat. With a positive voice in his ear he can be mentally prepared to what is up next. Teddy is going to work harder than ever to recover from that injury. The best thing for him to do is to be in a positive manner throughout the process.

The Vikings will need to figure out if they will pick up people from other teams or even free agency. They will need to fill out the roster for just in case of an injury occurring to a quarterback. They will be much more different without him so getting a good rhythm with each other will be key. The camaraderie might not be there without their starter but other players can step up and be leader. Next year, Bridgewater will come back better and do his thing on the field to lead his team. He is a good leader for his team so they are in good hands when he returns. I hope he recovers well throughout this process.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
