10 struggles we all know

Founded in 1933, The Philadelphia Eagles are commonly used as a punchline by many of those who follow American football. From no Super Bowl rings to several disappointing games our team has almost always been on the receiving end of jokes and memes. They're not the worst team in the NFL, but they've had their fair share of ups and downs. Although the Eagles have the most hardcore/loyal fans, there is absolutely no doubt that there are many struggles in being a die-hard fan. With being a fan comes the undying love, wild behavior and definitely a hard time.

1. Super Bowl XXXIX

A big thank you to McNabb -- that should have been ours.

2. New York Giants

The oldest rivalry in the NFL, thankfully not so heated/talked about.

3. Dallas Cowboys

THE MOST heated rivalry in the NFL. Do you really need more explanation?

4. Terrell Owens

Sure he can play, but the guy is a straight up douche.

5. Donovan McNabb

After choking during the Super Bowl, he really just went downhill from there.

6. Andy Reid

He was our coach for a good 14 years, and made his fair share of bad calls. He really did let us down towards the end, too.

7. Meeting the Cowboys 113 times in 82 years and losing 63 times

Yeah that means we won 50 times but still...

8. Hearing the same jabs from anti-Eagles fans

"How many Super Bowl rings do the Eagles have?"

9. Poor trade decisions

RIP Nick Foles

10. Being an Eagles fan living in Jersey

I made the poor decision to surround myself with Giants fans (thanks Rowan University).

With all the struggles comes the great strength an Eagles fan possess. There are so many reasons to ditch our boys in green and start rooting for someone that may or may not be better, but there's no fun in that. Sticking by them, even through so many mistakes makes loving football, loving the Eagles, so much better.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
