To my High School Seniors,
It is the last chapter of the days in your school that most of you have been in since you started kindergarten, and it's crazy to think that you are almost done with this chapter of your life. There are many emotions going through your head right now and a lot of you are in the phase of "Whats next for me?" There is no right or wrong path after high school, but I challenge you all to take time and plan one that will be in your best interest, and benefit you individually.
I want you all to take in all the memories and make the most of the time you have left. Cherish the memories with your close friends now because there is a good chance you won't be close with a lot of people after you graduate, just because you all are going on different paths and it is completely okay. Take a deep breath as well because college is not as scary as teachers in high school make it out to be. One of the small differences, however, is that you actually have to do your work and turn it in on time. Senior year should be the best year of your life. I also think it is what you make of it. Get involved with things. Do not hesitate to reach out and try to make new friends because it will help build your people skills. This year will be a lot of last, so cherish them and make them memorable.
This is the last time most of you will play sports at a varsity level. This means that every game and competition need to be taken seriously and like it's your last because when you are done, it is all over and it is a hard pill to swallow if you know you didn't give your all because you will have to live with that regret the rest of your life. It is very important to give your complete all your senior year because it is a major key on how you set yourself up for what's after high school. Good luck senior class. Best wishes and luck in the future. Finish strong and do not give up. There is no greater feeling than hearing your name called and hearing the crowd of people erupt because in this moment you will have made so many people proud.
