I saw you. Just one glance into those eyes and at that exact moment that I did, our universes collided. You & I were going to be something. I felt it from just one look, one simple, yet unbelievably breathtaking glance. That day that I met you for the first time- every word in which radiated out of you towards me, made me fall completely into you. I'm not even sure you can call it falling, I collapsed. I found my home. Your eyes, your lips, your smile, your laugh- every part of you, drifted me out to the most magical sea- on in which I never want to leave. I saw you. I simply, saw you and my world changed within that one moment. A moment that I knew would become a beautiful memory.

You kissed me. You kissed me and as soon as your lips found mine it was as if they had been searching for one another for quite some time. It was as if there were magnetic forces pulling our lips back to one another. You kissed me and I felt my blood serge through my veins as if I just shot dope into them. You kissed me and all my thoughts shut down. All that was important was you. My only focus was on you. You kissed me and I saw all of my hopes and dreams coming true one day. You kissed me and my heart started racing, beating so fast that it might explode through my chest. You kissed me in the middle of a country song- "Think a little less"- Michael Ray. You kissed me. You kissed me. You kissed me and I kissed you back, again and again- letting our souls intertwine. You kissed me and my heart realized it was home, where I was finally supposed to be, right there, with you.

You asked me to be your girlfriend. Who knew that one question- a simple grouping of words, could send off fireworks throughout my veins and spread this mile long smile along my face. You turned an Irish girl's already red cheeks to a whole new shade, one that I was perfectly okay with at that moment. My heart began to race, creating it's own rhythm- one that could have let my heart explode within my chest. You asked me to be your girlfriend and I said yes. I wanted to be yours. And that is what I became- what I am. Being yours is one of the greatest things to be. I am your girlfriend. The girl who gets to cheer you on, be your biggest fan, take care of you, and be your best friend. That, is purely beautiful. I am the world's luckiest girl.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
