10 Things People With Creative Minds Relate To

The whole idea of being left brained or right brained is often talked about. The left side of the brain is more logical and the right side is more creative. You obviously have both sides but one might be more dominant in your character. People who are right brain dominant are often the creative ones. If you are someone who struggled with logical topics such as science or math but excelled in the arts and english; then you are probably right brain dominant. Having a creative mind can be a gift and a curse. Here are 10 things you might relate to...

They enjoy their time being alone but sometimes suffer from loneliness.

People with creative minds don't mind being alone. They will still be social but then enjoy going home and being by themselves. However, even though creative people enjoy being alone, they can't stand being lonely.

They observe everything as art.

Creative minds have a different look on life and often see life as art. They fall in love with the beauty of the world such as sunsets and nature. Even something small can be seen as beautiful.

They are constantly daydreaming.

Daydreaming is a big thing with creative minds. If you have a more creative mind, as a kid, you probably got in trouble in school for daydreaming. It happens suddenly whenever they are bored and doze off. This can be the time where they will get their best ideas for whatever art form we are involved in.

They are constantly looking for a new life or new experiences.

Creative minds don't mind change, in fact, they will switch things up a lot. Whether it is their hair or a new experience. They take more risks and often are always looking for a new life.

They are often more spontaneous with their choices.

They often go with the flow and don't plan their choices as much. Creative minds will go on impromptu vacations and even make big life decisions on a whim.

They follow their heart more than their head.

Creative minds will often follow their heart more than their brain. They feel deeply and sometimes let their emotions get the best of them. However, they also can be the best at hiding this aspect.

Their mind never stops thinking.

A creative mind never stops thinking. It causes them to be more depression/anxiety prone because they will think too much and put themselves in a bad state. Although their mind creates art and poems, it can also be the most dangerous thing for them.

It's hard for them to face reality.

WeHeartIt

They have their head in the clouds and reality isn't as appealing to them. Instead of facing the harsh reality, they instead live inside their head.

They tend to want something different than what is normal

They tend to not want the "normal" life. They will either never settle down, travel or focus on their art more than anything else. People often get confused about the life creative minds tend to want.

They are very intuitive.

Quotags

Creative minds are very intuitive because they are more reserved but tend to be more observant. They are the best people to vent to because they will be able to read into the situation more deeply. Creative minds are often the best listeners because they don't interrupt nor do they spread around what you told them.

As someone who is right brain dominant as well, I found these to be very relatable. For anybody who is: it's okay to struggle with the more logical subjects because you also can create some of the most beautiful art, music, writings and entertainment. Although it comes with some downfalls like not being fully understood, struggling with your mind or being called a daydreamer; it comes with a lot of upsides such as seeing things beautifully, creating masterpieces and being the most observant. Continue to live your life, be yourself and keep up with your craft.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
