With school quickly approaching around the corner, that means back to school sales. What better time to revamp your wardrobe then for this new semester! Whether you are in your first year of college, taking up an internship, or going to complete your masters; here are some pieces that you should have in your closet.

1. Black pants.

This is a staple piece for anyone who is working or doing an internship this year. You can dress them up with a button down top and heeled shoes, or dress it down with a plain t shirt and flats. Black pants or jeans are very versatile and could fit in any one's wardrobe.

2. Hats.

It is such a great feeling to know that in college you can wear hats without getting penalized. Hats are so great for those days when you are too lazy to do your hair, or it is just not cooperating. Sometimes you could be having a great hair day, but the hat just completes or matches well with the whole look.

3. Leotards and body suits.

They definitely do not need to be as extravagant as the one in the photo above. Body suits are so unique and look amazing tucked into any type of pants or jeans. The can also be dressed down for school into a pair of jeans, or dressed up into a skirt for a night out. You can make them look professional with a pair of printed pants. Body suits look very intimidating at first, however they are a very versatile piece.

4. Ripped jeans.

I think a fun pair of pants or jeans is essential in anyone's closet. They are great, comfortable, and stylish with practically any top. While they are not practical in a professional setting, they are great to wear on your off days or for going out.

5. Sweatpants.

Great for those days where you just do not want to get out of bed. They are comfortable, and can definitely look cute depending on how you style them.

6. Cardigans.

This can be found in pretty much anyone's closet, and if you do not have one then what are you doing? Cardigans are great for the fall, they keep you looking super cute and warm. Personally, the more oversized the cardigan is, the better!
