A dog will love you no matter how much candy you eat during finals, or how much weight you have gained since you two met.
8. Everyone will tell you, your dog is cute.
No matter if your dog is ugly or the cutest dog ever, no one will complain that you talk about your ugly boyfriend too much.
9. They are always excited to see you.
It doesn't matter whether you went out all night and left them at home. It doesn't matter if you yelled at them for chewing up your shoes. It doesn't matter if you are crying or look like you just got hit by a train. They will jump on you and request all the love you can give them forgetting everything that you did before you left.
No matter if you were looking to get a boyfriend, have a boyfriend, or are perpetually single... You now have a few reasons why it is way better to just have a dog. If you love dogs as much or more than you love people this is all the reason you need to choose a dog over a significant other.
