A Reality Check From A Moderate's Perspective
Christina Boalt

After many hours of contemplation and script writing, I eventually came to the conclusion that I needed to just step back and speak from the heart without a script regarding the recent events in our country. There are a lot of awful things happening in America and I think it is imperative that we all come together to give ourselves a little reality check.

I am by no means an expert, but I do believe that I am an informed citizen who looks at things from both sides. Seeing the country divide itself more and more is scary, and the hatred will not solve any issues. My technical skills with video-making are by no means perfect and my way with words may not be the best, but I hope that my message hits you and makes you reflect upon all that has happened and makes you try to better the future with those whom you may not agree.

I hope everyone can refrain for attacking my views and come to use my perspective as a way to inform your own. I was quite nervous making it, but I am ultimately proud of the outcome.

The snow makes people forget how to drive, its cold, the roads are bad, and chances are, you will be spending a lot more money than you do during the other months of the year. If you’re from the Midwest, it seems to be that winter lasts for what feels like forever. But despite the struggles that winter brings, there are so many things to love about it.

It happens to all of us, the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas the catch up with you.

Thanksgiving Break is most likely everyone’s favorite break during the fall semester. You get to go home and reminisce with all your high school friends. That diet you’ve been on for the past month goes out the window, and you get to eat until you put yourself into a food coma. There’s no rush on homework and you can just lie in bed and Netflix to your heart’s content. To me that sounds like an ideally wonderful break, and totally stress-free.
