It's hard not to fight the urge of wanderlust when you're in your 20s because this might be the only chance you get to travel without commitments or responsibilities complicating your plans. And traveling can be as far or as close as you want it to be. The overall goal is to experience the world and all the cultures that are found on it so use this list to help set your very own of places that you should definitely try to travel to before you turn 30:

New York City

Its the city that never sleeps and you shouldn't either when you visit NYC. Enjoy Broadway and the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center and The Statue of Liberty and more!

Paris

The city of lights and romance. You need to make sure to see (and even climb) the Eiffel Tower and visit the Louvre. And make sure you take time to have breakfast of croissants and coffee at the little cafes that line the street.

London

Try not to get washed out when visiting London, but enjoy the sites of the London Bridge and sit in on a classic English tea time.

Washington DC

Full of United States history, D.C. is where you can visit the White House, The Capital Building, the Lincoln Memorial, and more. Definitely a place to take your time and enjoy the main location of our country's center government.

Rome

Rome contains enough history that you can get lost in it. From the Colosseum to the Vatican City to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon.

San Francisco

The windy city is one to check off the books just to be able to see the glorious Golden Gate bridge.

Barcelona

They have almost finished the final construction of the Sagrada família and that will be a fantastic site to see. And after walking the city all day stop and enjoy some delicious tapas!

Sydney

Besides being in Australia (which would be beyond cool) Sydney houses their famous Opera House which was designed in a shell shape.

Key West

Not only is Key West the famous stomping grounds of the writer Ernest Hemingway and know for its conch fritters, it's also got a lively nightlife that will make you fall in love with the Caribbean lifestyle.

Florence

Besides being in Italy and wanting to load up on all the fantastic pasta and wine, don't forget to see the Statue of David and other magnificent attractions.

Berlin

The turmoil-filled history of Berlin will keep you busy when you adventure out and see the Berlin Wall and the Brandenburg Gate.

Amsterdam

What other city do you know of that has rivers and canals for roadways (well besides Venice of course)? Plus all the beautiful and colorful buildings will make exploring this easy going city picturesque.

Charleston

Another history filled city that resides in South Carolina will make you want to move there immediately. From personal experience, I would never leave this quaint city or the awesome open market that takes up a couple city blocks!

Beijing

Don't forget to visit the massive temples and Great Wall of China when you go to Beijing.

Venice

Another glorious city that makes a statement of having canals and gondolas for transportation. Maybe try and sneak into a masquerade Venetian party while your there, after of course visiting the Piazza San Marco and Saint Mark's Basilica

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is a breathtaking Inca City in the Andes Mountains of Peru that if you reach the top can discover the architecture of an ancient colonization.

Dublin

This urban city is the capital of Ireland, so while your here drink and get certified in pouring some Guinness beer!

Moscow

While you're visiting make sure to take the time and see Saint Basil's Cathedral and the Kremlin.

The Swiss Alps

Besides diving into the fondue don't forget to enjoy the fantastic skiing or snowboarding because these mountains and views are made for doing just that.

Crete

One of the many Greek islands this is the most populous so while you visit make sure to lounge and soak in the Mediterranean sun.

Tokyo

While in Tokyo, you should visit Tokyo Tower and the Imperial Palace and go enjoy some amazing sushi.

Maldives

An island in the south of Asia is probably one of the most romantic and secluded places to visit so don't forget your significant other when you decide to take a dip in the gorgeous clear water surrounding the Maldives.

And the list can definitely go on, but these are a few that you can use to start your own so you can begin planning your future trips!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
