As an incredibly biased student, I can easily argue that Penn State is the greatest university in this country. My pride for my university is immeasurable, but there are some pretty impressive facts that help justify my opinion.

1. The greatest thing about Penn State is THON. The largest student-run philanthropy in the world raises millions each year to fund pediatric cancer research.

2. Beaver Stadium is the second largest football stadium in this country, holding 107,282 screaming fans.

3. On game days, State College becomes the third largest city in Pennsylvania due to the influx of fans coming to see their beloved team.

4. We have the largest dues-paying alumni association in the world.

5. Penn State ranks among top universities from which to recruit.

6. The geology school is ranked number one in the country. The meteorology school has also been said to be the best.

7. U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Penn State's World Campus in the top ten for best online bachelor's programs.

8. Penn State has one of the largest Greek communities in the country. There are around 89 different fraternities and sororities on campus.

9. University Primetime has ranked Penn State as the third most fun university to attend in the country.

10. Penn State has been called the number one party school in the nation.

11. We have also been ranked number one for biggest beer drinkers.

12. Penn State is the second most expensive public school in this country. This isn't exactly a plus, but it shows how much students are willing to give to attend Penn State.

13. The Penn State Lunar Lion Mission is the first university-led mission to the moon.

14. Joe Paterno has the most wins of any coach in college football history.

15. Penn State is the best university in the country. This ranking I made up myself, but as you can see above, it's a title that is well-deserved.
