Unlike most people, when my head hits the pillow I do not instantly relax or recap on my day and then pass out. This is when my mind starts working. I start planning. I start seeing visions of what I can make my car look like. Where my passion for cars can take me. The next chance I will have to work on it. And most of all, this passion of mine, keeps me up purely because there are so many different options and directions to take and once the gears in my head start turning, they do not stop until I am satisfied with my visions.

I am a car guy. If a car catches my eye during the day, it will keep me up. If I watch a video online about a car build or someone's drifting season, it will keep me up. If I have a day without any interaction with cars, it will keep me up. I will always have cars racing through my mind. To some, this probably sounds crazy. But, I am up do to passion and motivation, which keeps every driven person up, no matter the background force behind it.

Whenever I see a spark of inspiration, my mind starts running. I cannot stop until I am completely satisfied and have a plan for myself. This takes hours and hours. No matter how late it gets, I just keep planning and visualizing the next step to get everything done. As an ex-athlete, I had the same thoughts at night for when I strived to be the best player on my team and eventually play in college.

One of my passions is the sport of drifting. One video that I watch time in and time out is about professional drifter, Matt Coffman. He is a young, up-in-coming driver that puts together videos that are mini movies. Every single time I watch this, it drives me to stop burning tires and finally make a move to get my self out on track. Without these short little videos, I do not think I would be as fueled to get to where I want to be now. Everyone needs a passion and some sort of motivation to get there.

What is your motivation? Is it someone who pushes you to strive to be the best? is it to prove someone wrong? Is it a song that really hits home for you? Or is it even just a two and a half minute video that gives you all the drive and emotion to get through that brick wall standing in your way?

No matter what it is, do not pass on it. If you are motivated, act on it. If you are passionate, strive to live out that passion. If you want it, never stop until you get it.

Whether you are an athlete, an artist, a teacher, or a car guy, if you are passionate about what you do, it will keep you up at night because at that moment in time, nothing can stop you from getting it.

Carry that momentum from the night before into your life the next day. Turn your thoughts and dreams into a reality. Put in the work and time to get there. Do not stop grinding unit you reach that goal, and more so, once you achieve it, push the limits even further.

Never give up on anything you are passionate about solely because someone else does not think it is worthwhile. If you believe in it, nothing else matters.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
