We all have that one (or multiple, in my case) best friend that we just don't know what we do without. They can be on our campus, back home, or at another college. But no matter where you are, you guys are long distance best friends--LDBFs for short. You may or may not talk a lot and you want to thank them for being your LDBF but you just don't know how. Well, here's a few things I'd like to thank my LDBF for that you can use too.
Thank you for being there when I was freaking out.
I know you're a busy person and truly do appreciate the fact that whenever I need to freak out, you'll be there. I know my freak outs are a little excessive at times and you let me know when I'm being stupid. So thanks.
And thank you for being there even when you didn't know what was wrong.
I truly appreciate the fact that you won't push me to say what's wrong if I'm not ready to talk about it. You completely understand me even when I sometimes don't understand myself.
Thank you for randomly calling me.
You don't know how much that means to me when you randomly call or text me that you wake up missing me. It totally makes my day. Basically, just thank you for making my days because you always seem to randomly text or call me whenever I'm not in a good place. And I appreciate that. More than you will ever know.
Thank you for playing video games with me over Skype.
I know we haven't done it often but we should totally make
Thank you for being my best friend.
We have our ups and downs and disagreements but I know that that would never stop us from being LDBFs. I know it can be a little hard sometimes on both ends but hey, I wouldn't want to stick it out with anyone else.
Thank you for not letting the distance get between us.
I know that it can be hard, what with the distance and all. And I mean this is basically like a long distance relationship. But I mean, if we are being honest with each other, this is a long distance relationship. Just without the bullshit drama.
I know we don't talk every day or week but it's better than nothing. There is no one else I'd rather be LDBFs with than you.
