You know you're from Ohio when...
1. You are used to the bipolar weather where it snows 3 inches one day, and is 75 degrees and sunny the next
We all know how depressing this is. One day we are in our shorts and t-shirts and prepared for spring, and the next day we are battling the brutally cold wind in our winter coats.
2. You can drive ten minutes from your house and find farms and corn... lots of corn
No matter where you are in Ohio, you can drive a few minutes away and find acres of land that contain corn and cows.
3. If you're from the Cincinnati/Dayton area, you know about the "Hell Is Real" sign in the middle of nowhere
We aren't sure why this is there, but it makes us laugh every time we pass it.
4. The most interesting thing to do for entertainment is to go to our local Walmart
This is a very sad, but true, fact. Walking through Walmart and people watching is the most entertaining thing to do on a Friday or Saturday night as a teenager.
5. If you're from Cincinnati, you are familiar with the never ending construction on the highway
Heading towards downtown Cincinnati is nearly impossible due to the (never ending) construction on I-75 South. It has been under construction for as long as anyone can remember, and nobody expects anything less.
6. We can all agree that our sports teams in Cincinnati are awful, besides the University of Cincinnati basketball team, of course
The Reds and the Bengals lose more games than they win... lets be honest. We can be proud of one team though because the University of Cincinnati's basketball team did really well this season. Go Bearcats!
Many of us claim that we hate Ohio, and that we can't wait to get out. But many of us can't picture leaving because Ohio is our home. Someday I will leave this place, but I know that I will always come back.
