Hey, I know you but you don't necessarily know me. I am you but several years into the future. I want to let you know that it's OK to come out of your shell. It sounds hard, believe me, I know; it took me a while to get myself out there. Everything is different now but have no fear, its the best different that anyone could ask for. Despite our lack of social interactions and not liking to be around large quantities of people, we are still successful!! Although a job in retail is not our preference, I made us some good friends and some gas money. I loved the Degree program you picked for me and while I may not get along with everyone, I still have that sarcastic humor to throw them all off. I love painting as an escape but have slowed on the reading... I know, I know... I try my hardest but I just don't have the time to read a 350 page book in one sitting. School is challenging but it is the best way to challenge myself. I got an internship that lets me hold some cute fish and helped me expand my knowledge by going out on a boat once or twice a week. Remember how you sort of wanted to be a teacher? I'm still considering it but for the moment I'm testing the waters as a mentor of first year college students. I hope they enjoy learning from us (me) as much as I love teaching them :) You're still obsessed with Grey's Anatomy and you've watched the series over more time you can count on one hand. I think its OK because I am currently part of a group who considers themselves doctors because of their serious obsession with Grey's.... I am 100 percent kidding. I only preform appendectomies on stuffed animals.... All jokes aside, do not under any circumstance, be afraid to be yourself. There a definitely times where you could tone down the sarcasm but that is a lesson for another letter. You are loyal to every one of your friends and family and it makes you a great person. Keep laughing and doing your best because people enjoy your presence and your help. Don't be afraid to speak up and as for help when you need it because it is an experience for you to learn; an opportunity that should never be taken away from you. I love you, and everything you are. DO NOT let any body take that from you, no matter how close to them you are.
