My father is the first man I ever loved. He sets the standards for all the other men that come into my life. He has so many wonderful qualities that make him the perfect man in my eyes.
My father is hard-working
My father is the hardest working man I have ever seen. He has worked so many jobs from such a young age. He bought himself his own car after he turned 16. While attending college and law school he worked. He wakes up every morning and goes to work in order to give our family an amazing life. Everything I have, everywhere I have been, and everything I am able to do is because of my father's persistent hard work.
My father is a Protector
Though he is a movie character, Liam Neeson's character in "Taken" is along the lines of what I imagine my father to be. I will never feel 100 percent completely safe unless I am with my father. As an ex-cop and martial arts master, there is no one in the world that can make me feel like nothing can harm me that way that being around my father does. I know he would do anything to keep me safe.
My father is a Motivator
My father is my biggest supporter (aside from my mother). He believes in me more than I believe in myself. He pushes me to reach my fullest potential. He supports me in everything I do and encourages me to be even better. He sees greatness in me where I don't. He makes me a better person in every way.
My father has the biggest heart
My father is so unbelievably kind and good hearted. It amazes me everyday how big his heart actually is. He not only loves his family unconditionally, but he treats everyone with that same kindness and respect.
My father has endless positivity.
It amazes me every day how positive my dad's outlook on life is. He has had setbacks, disappointments and unpleasant things happen to him. But he wakes up every day smiling. He doesn't get discouraged when things don't go his way. He doesn't give up and he faces each challenge head on. He has taught me that a closed door isn't a reason to give up, but to push forward even more and never give up.
My father is friends with everyone
There is not a place in this world that we can go and my father will not run into someone he knows. His network of friends extends all over. The reason for this though is that he is so genuine. He treats every single person he meets like they are the most important person in the world. He truly cares and is interested in whatever is happening in your life. I have always admired the way he is able to connect with everyone. I have really never met anyone that dislikes my father and if anyone does happen to have a negative opinion of him, then they truly must not know him.
My father is a family man
Family comes first in my dad's eyes. He coached all my sports teams. He participated in the father dance at all my ballet recitals. He attended every father-daughter dance. For my pre-school show and tell he came in and broke bricks with his bare hands. If there's an emergency, he is the first to respond. He does everything with his family in mind. His love for family extends out of just our immediate family. He treats his mother-in-law like his own mother. He treats his nieces and nephews like his own children and his sister-in-law like his own sister. He would do anything for any of them.
My father is a Comedian
One thing I love most about my dad is his ability to make me laugh. He is always making jokes, always teasing us and always playing pranks. One time he dressed up a mannequin in all black, with sunglasses and a hat, and sat it in my room so when I got home, I screamed as loud as possible and he laughed so hard. He once put a walkie-talkie under my mom's pillow while she was asleep and then went downstairs and screamed into the other end. His endless pranks and joking keep us all on our toes and keeps us constantly laughing.
My father is a Husband
One of the most admirable qualities that I admire about my father is what an amazing husband he is to my mother. He has always shown me how a man should treat a woman and what love looks like. 25 years later and my mother is still the most beautiful woman in his eyes. He teases her and makes her laugh, he cherishes her and he respects her. My parents are best friends. I have always admired my parents love for each other. Their love story is one from a fairytale and I can only ever hope to find a relationship that compares.

My father is my shoulder to cry on. My father is my listening ear when I need one. My father is my chauffeur, my piggy bank, and most importantly, my best friend.
The man my father is amazes me every day. I am constantly grateful that I was given such a wonderful man to call dad.
