Even the funniest of shows can have underlying life advice. It's our job to decode those lessons and apply them to our everyday lives. As hilarious as "Modern Family" is, the show provides us with key points directly related to "modern" living.

1. Sometimes life confuses you, so you need to confuse it right back.

2. Revenge happens. In Cam’s opinion, you’re supposed to wait and plan it out for the most successful revenge.

3. You can’t cage love or else love will leave you, but we can make an exception for ferocious animals.
