I want to start this letter of by saying thank you. Thank you for showing me what real love is, and what it means to be appreciated by someone.

Before I met you I wasn't in a good place. I was determined to never let my walls down for anyone ever again. I thought love wasn't meant for me or that I wasn't good enough for anybody. I thought that I was better off alone because no one wanted to deal with my anxiety attacks and my constant mood swings. I especially didn't think any boy would be able to overlook my past. But then you came along and you took it all in stride. I don't think I could ever thank you enough.

Our love story started out the same as anyone else. I saw you and automatically knew you were the one I wanted to be with. I was determined to be with you. We finally went out on a date and that day, whether you realize it or not, was one of the best days of my life. We became official that day and I was the happiest I had been in a long time. I still am the happiest I have been in a long time.

I am not sure how to describe the feeling you give me. It isn't exactly butterflies or euphoric but it is somewhere in between. You came into my life exactly when I needed you to. In a way, you could say that you saved me. You saved me from myself because I was on a sure path of self destruction. And again, I cannot thank you enough for it. You help me everyday with my anxious feelings, and my mood swings, and when I get sad for no reason You always know the exact thing to say to turn it all around.

I am not the best at talking about my feelings, but for some reason with you it all feels so natural. You make it easy to just enjoy my days. Instead of dreading waking up everyday, I look forward to it because that means I get to talk to you again. You bring out the better side in me. I honestly cannot tell you the last time I had this smile on my face, and it is all because of you and the affect you have on me. It is hard to put into words, but just know you are the light of my day, everyday.

I want to tell you that I love you. I love every part of you. I love your past, present, and your future. I love your perfections and your imperfections. I love all of these things about you simply because without them, you would not be you. I love you for you, and I wouldn't ask for anything else. You are my rock, and without you, I wouldn't be on a very good path today.
