Growing up in the great state of North Carolina there are three types of teams you can pull for: Carolina, State or Duke. Of course I pull for the winning team, The University of North Carolina. I was raised a Tarheel, my dad is a huge Carolina fan, and I love sports so I began to love the Tarheels at a young age.

I can say we sometimes we are a very unstable team, wish washy in games, make bad decisions, have numerous turnovers, and sometimes Roy doesn't call a timeout... but in the end most of the time we get a win. The enthusiasm of the fans, the hype of the dean dome, the beautiful Carolina blue that shows up at every game and the intense moments of the basketball game make me love the Carolina Tarheels.

This year we began our 106th season of playing basketball, and we didn't exactly know what was in store for us. We started this season with 17 ACC championships, 5 NCAA titles, and 6 seniors. I can say that this might be one of my favorite senior classes ever. Marcus Paige, Brice Johnson, and Joel James are class acts of the Tarheels. I couldn't put into words what they have done for the program.

The time came for our biggest rival game against Duke at Chapel Hill and they beat us by one point in a tough 74-73 loss. But that didn't stop us, we beat them at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham 76-72. So glad we beat those dukie devils. This win made us the ACC Regular Season Champions. What an awesome way to end our regular season.

We began our journey into the ACC tournament in Washington D.C in our first game against Pitt with a win 88-71. Our second game we played Notre Dame and easily breezed by them for a 78-47 win. Our last game was the championship game and we played Virginia in one of our toughest games of the season. With out sub par offense, heavy defense, Virginia double-teaming us, we managed to pull out a win with a 61-57 to win the ACC Championship.

Congratulations Tarheels on a wonderful season, now it's time to buckle up because we're off to the big dance. We begin our first game of the NCAA Tournament on March 17. We were placed as the number one seed in the tournament which is very nerve racking. I'm so excited to watch our boys finish out the season and hope they can pull through with winning the whole tournament. As always its a #GDTBATH.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
