Hopefully, you have spent your youthful summers taking advantage of the wonders that Chicago has to offer. Maybe not. Either way, summer is back, so are you, and your city is better than ever (with the exception of a rather dry hockey-playoff season.) With four months of potentially 80 degree weather looming in front of us, here are a few ways to make sure you get just about everything you can out of the best city around.

1. Go to a Cubs game.

2. Go to six more Cubs games.

3. Go to no Sox games.

4. Eat Portillos -- the right way.

5. Drive down LSD ... like a 16-year-old who just got their license.

6. Jump off the ledges on Lake Michigan.

7. Attend an outdoor concert.

8. ...In addition to at least a day of Lollapalooza.

9. Eat everything at Taste of Chicago.

10. Kayak on the Chicago River.

11. Don’t fall into the Chicago River.

12. If you do, get a tetanus shot very rapidly.

13. Eat on an outdoor patio by the lake.

14. Take the train downtown.

15. Interact with the incredibly amusing people on the train.

16. Or try to find a parking spot.

17. Order a deep-dish pizza.

18. Rave about how much better it is than New-York style pizza.

19. People. Watch.

20. Eat a paleta.

21. Go to the new Blackhawks store -- even if it still hurts.

22. Pretend to shop on Michigan avenue.

23. Don’t actually shop cause you will go broke.

24. Befriend someone who owns a boat.

25. Take advantage of that boat.

26. Watch a movie in a park.

27. Just be a tourist for a day!

28. Every now and then, pause and look around.

29. Your city is pretty d*mn beautiful.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
