I've been a fan of the "WWE" which stands for World Wrestling Entertainment" since before I probably could even talk. I've grown up around the "WWE". I've been watching it with my Mom and older brother since I was very young. I've always loved it. I've been fortunate to meet some "WWE" wrestlers. I love every aspect of wrestling, the storylines and storytelling as well as the physical aspects as well. To me it's so cool and amazing. In the "WWE", both men and women wrestle and perform and are known as "Superstars", which is amazing. It's very cool to see both men and women wrestle and put on these incredible and athletic shows. I've always been a fan of women's wrestling and found it to be so cool that both the men and women perform on the same level. Even though women in general are always assumed to be less athletic and less strong than men but the women of the "WWE" prove that they are just as strong and athletic and as skilled as the male wrestlers.
Although for a long time female wrestlers were not viewed the same way as the male wrestlers were, they have proven how great they are as athletes and as stars. When I was younger, I always wondered why the female wrestlers were not given the same amount of time to wrestle and same amount of matches as the male wrestlers were, but I remember my mom saying that one day it would change and women wrestlers would be getting amazing opportunities as well. My mother always taught my brother and I to respect women and view both men and women as equals. It's been awesome in the last few years to see change in how female wrestlers in the "WWE" are viewed. It's been cool to see this change and growth, and see women be treated as equals.
The last few years have seen women be treated with respect like the hardworking and awesome people they are. If you're a wrestling fan like me you have seen with your own eyes the "Women's revolution" occur; female wrestlers have been given equal opportunities as the male wrestlers. It's cool to see the women shine and be treated with respect as athletes and be treated the way they are deserved to be. Having been a lifelong "WWE" fan, I respect the world of the "WWE" so much. Wrestlers both male and female work so hard to entertain fans, and they have a hard and busy life. I see how hectic there lives are on social media, I follow so many wrestlers on different social media apps I see them traveling basically every single day. They do it because they love performing and entertaining fans like me.
When I was younger I didn't really get it, but as someone who is 19 turning 20 soon and who goes to school and works, I can only imagine how hard there lives are. I respect their lives so much and appreciate what they do so much more now than compared to when I was younger. I respect people who work hard and live out their dreams. For me as both a child and as an adult the performers are an inspiration to me to follow my dreams and work hard and live the life I want to live.
