1. You probably weren't aware vacations are supposed to be relaxing.
All I've ever known is "go, go, go" on vacations. What do you mean you take naps? Naps are for the weak! I'll rest when I get home, right now, I have a fast pass for Rockin' Rollercoaster. I learned later that some people actually feel rested and rejuvenated after a peaceful week at the beach? I know, it's crazy.
2. You have a dog named after one of the beloved characters.
I have had the privilege of meeting a number of canine Belles and Plutos. My personal choice? My toy schnauzer is named Minnie Mouse.
3. You spent numerous Halloweens dressed up as your favorite princesses or characters.
My pajamas as well as my Halloween costume multiple years were me as Princess Jasmine. One year I tried branching out and was Princess Ariel; I dyed our recliner red with my temporary hair dye. The things we do to be Disney.
4. Your family has some type of "Disney shrine" in your house.
A Mickey Mouse guest room, a princess-themed bedroom, or an all decked out Disney play room. It's not just you, it's the whole family.
5. As a college student, your friends think it's hilarious and maybe a little weird how much you love it.
"Yeah guys, we could go to Destin for Spring Break, but what about Disney World?!"
6. You talk about Walt like he's a friend.
And you know he preferred to be called Walt, not Mr. Disney.
7. One of the most heated arguments you've ever had is which park is better.
Hollywood Studios has the rides; Magic Kingdom has the magic; Animal Kingdom has the safari as well as Everest; Epcot has the World Showcase. An argument can be made for all of these, but we all know Magic Kingdom will always come out on top.
8. You know to never give up and that dreams really do come true.
