11 Things You Know To Be True If You're Obsessed With Disney World

It's called the happiest place on Earth for a reason. For the people like me--who never quite grew up, and are still Disney freaks. This one's for you.

1. You've been to Disney at least twenty times.

Every trip was better than the last.

2. "You're going to Disney World again?"

People will question why you continue to go to the same vacation spot every year. They just don't understand. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

3. You'll never be too old to go back to Disney World.

It's still just as magical as it was when you were three years old. It always has, it always will be.

4. You laugh slightly as you watch people take the maps as they walk into the park.

You know exactly where you're going. Tomorrowland? To the right. Frontierland? To the left. Those amateurs.

5. You know which rides are worth the wait and which aren't.

Seriously, why does anyone wait over two hours for the Peter Pan ride that lasts less than two minutes? You spend your time much more wisely and make the most of your day.

6. It's kind of embarrassing, but you know the pre-recorded intros to the rides.

"Howdy Partners! For your safety remain seated with your hands, arms, feet, and legs inside the train and be sure to watch your kids! If any of you folks are wearing hats or glasses, best you remove 'em, cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!"

7. You're better at planning out your fastpasses than your actual life.

You're bad at scheduling-- except when you know you have a fastpass or a reservation at a restaurant. That's when your time management is at its peak performance.

8. You know the best time to get on the rides quickly is during the fireworks shows.

Honestly, you've seen the show plenty of times anyway. You take advantage of the short wait times (except the Peter Pan ride, it's really just always crowded).

9. Okay... the fireworks show is kinda great.

I still get the feels every time. Judge me.

10. You know exactly where to go eat.

You have favorite spots and restaurants in every park. And you stick exclusively to them. It just works.

11. You know you'll never really change.

Peter Pan said it best-- never grow up. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be a kid forever.

Here's to twenty more Disney trips.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
