Have you ever been hungry but didn't want to go to the same old places? Wanted some great local cuisine without having to leave campus? Well, the answer has been driving around campus all semester: food trucks.
The Student Government Association and Sodexo recently partnered up to bring great local options to you each week!

"Students can find food trucks in various locations all around campus every week, and you can place your order with the new Tapingo app, where you can use your Flex dollars," said SGA Services Vice President Kaylee Brandt.
"Tapingo allows you to order wherever you are on campus and also gives you an estimated time of when your food will be available for pickup," she added.
Sodexo, U of L's food services provider, is more than happy that students all over campus are loving food trucks and the Tapingo app.
"The food trucks on campus have really been great for student satisfaction and having more options for dining," said Jennie DiBeneditto, Sodexo's Marketing Coordinator. "It's great that you can use your Flex points or Cardinal Cash with the new Tapingo app for mobile ordering."
But don't just take my word for it; here's what other students had to say about the service.
"I really like that they brought the food trucks to campus. It adds variety in my choices for lunch, and I like the fact that the companies are local," said Michiel Van Zyl.
This semester, local companies have included Mark's Feed Store, Boss Hog BBQ, Pollo and Johnny's Diner Car.
"I like food trucks because everyone here is really nice," said Isaiah Hein. "It's kind of convenient because there are different spots across campus so they're always near me. You can order from your Tapingo app and it comes up pretty quick."
If you still aren't sold, give it a try! Download the Tapingo app and check out food trucks all over campus every week. Schedules are made available on SGA's Facebook page.
