I think that I am very blessed to have the grandparents that I have. I strongly believe that my Grandparents have shaped me into the young woman I am today. They always push me to do the best I can and are my biggest supporters. I have been able to grow up with all four of them and created wonderful memories with them. I know that I could never thank them for everything they have done for me, but I am going to try my best.

1. Thank you for standing by my side in every decision I have made.

You all have told me that I know what is best for me so I know the right decision that needs to me made in situations. I always know that no matter what path I go down in life I can look next to me and you all will be there.

2. Thank you for the unannounced phone calls and holiday cards.

Whenever I am having a bad day and receive a phone call from one of you, my day is instantly turned around. I know that if there is a holiday that I can not make it back home for, I will have a holiday card sent my way. I could never express enough how happy those gestures make me.

3. Thank you for being my personal grocery store.

Ever since I have left college I know that if I need any food when I come home all I have to do is look through your fridge. Grandma's home cooking will forever be my favorite. Leftovers come a long way on those late night study dates.

4. Thank you for hanging pictures of our family throughout your homes.

I love being able to come home and walk down the hallway to see pictures that range from my childhood years until now. Those pictures give me a sense of happiness that I will not be able to find anywhere else. Those pictures help remind me of all the great memories we made in my younger years and are still making.

5. Thank you for showing me what love really is.

When I go to your houses I instantly feel love when I walk in the door. Love is being able to be with people that care about you like no one else. Love is the small things that include making sure my oil is checked in my car so when I come home on the weekends I have nothing to worry about.

6. Thank you for treating my sibling and I the same.

You showed us that one child is not favored over the other and that we are both loved the same. Thank you for giving us the love and support we have needed over the years.

7. Thank you for being fun grandparents.

I know that I am always going to laugh whenever I walk in the door. Papas know exactly what to say to get everyone in the room crying from laughing so hard. No matter how bad my jokes are y'all always laugh.

8. Thank you for being as big as a shopaholic as me.

Every time I come home and want to go shopping I know exactly who to call. I would not trade the many shopping sprees that me and my nanny have had for anything.

9. Thank you for showing me the path to God.

I could not thank all four of you enough for being strong Christian models in my life. I know that whenever I am in doubt all I have to do is open up my Bible or pray. I know that all of you pray for me on a daily basis and I strongly believe that is what has got me through my battles.

10. Thank you for giving me the parents that I have.

I could not thank you all enough for blessing me with the father and mother I have. Because of y'all I was blessed with two parents that care and love my sibling and I endlessly.

Those are only a small list of thank you's that I have. I could go on forever explaining the many things you four have done for me. I could not express the love I have and how grateful I am to have you four. I am so blessed to have you all and thank you for being you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
