To the girl that sometimes needs reassuring that you can make it on your own or for other things that you may struggle with, here are a few words for you to always make sure you can say to yourself.
I myself still struggle sometimes to remember that things will always work out and that I do not need to worry about every small detail. My anxiety creates a problem with this. I have the amazing support behind me that I need to keep myself going and she is always reassuring me that things will work out. Sometimes, though, I need reassurance of my self confidence. In this time, she always makes sure that I know that I am beautiful and that I do not need to worry about what I look like, because it is not important to worry about. She is always there for me no matter what and is always willing to listen to me about anything.
For the girls that are missing this support, always remember to tell yourself that you are beautiful when you look in the mirror regardless if you're in sweats and your hair is in a bun or you are all dressed up for a date and you have all your make-up on and your hair done. You always look beautiful. By doing this every time that you look in the mirror, you will become more confident and you will always be reassured that you are as beautiful as you are. And on the days that you struggle harder with this, say it a few extra times. It helps.
Now, when you feel like you are stuck in a rut and you aren't able to move anywhere because financial things are getting in the way or your struggling with a mental illness or you are just struggling to get by and get all of your necessary things done that you need to, take time away from that for a little while and remind yourself that you will get through this. It may be difficult now, but it will lead to something so rewarding at the end of the road. You can do many things to relax your mind, like coloring in an extensively hard coloring book, or reading a new book that came out and annotating it, or meditating for a little bit or even being able to go to the gym and go for a run. It doesn't have to be something strenuous; that isn't the goal. Just find something that you will be able to stick with when you need a little breather.
For the days that you feel that it is impossible to get out of bed because something isn't going right or if you have a mental illness and it is just making you feel that you no longer wish to do this anymore, remember that it will get better. It may not better right away, and sometimes it needs to get worse before it gets better, and that's OK. Make sure to remind yourself on these days that even the smallest things are accomplishments. If you get out of you bed to shower and then go back to bed, that's an accomplishment and you should be proud of that.
Always remember that you are your biggest supporter. Keep going.
