Yesterday the most zany election to date finally came to an end. From 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. the entire country sat on the edge of its seat waiting to see who was going to be hired as the new face of the country. Some of us laughed, some of us cried, but all of us had something to say. Here are some words that kept laughing through it.

1. "I'm only voting to get a sticker. Krispy Kreme is giving out free donuts to whoever has a sticker."

2. "This is so much better than game seven." (Go Cubs!)

3. "A good amount of the high school girls under 18 on my Facebook friends list are voting for Trump."

4. "Thank GOD this shit show is ending so the internet can go back to being about that dead gorilla."

5. "Exercising my right to vote is the most exercise I've done all year."

6. "If Trump wins I'm leaving the country, if Clinton wins I'm leaving the country. This is not a political opinion, I just want to travel.

7. "There's Latinos in Michigan?"

8. "The Snapchat geotag poll has been the most reliable source all night."

9. "Raise your hand if you would bang 1996 Bill Clinton."

10. "This is the opposite of Netflix & Chill, this is CNN & PANIC."

11. "Does this mean I'm gonna wake up tomorrow and be great again?"

12. "I will never vote for a woman. NEVER!" (Said by a girl)

13. "I did not vote for the racist douche bag that is endorsed by the KKK. Instead, I voted for the crooked con artist. Because I'm pro-choice."

14. "Does anyone know how to make a Xanax smoothie?"

15. "Watching this coverage in a dry sorority house was an amateur move on my part."

16. "There we were, praying for Florida, little did we know that Hurricane Matthew was trying to save us."

17. "Hillary's haircut looks better on my dog than Trump's."

18. "Why didn't we all die in 2012 when we had the chance?"

19. "If Hillary wins, it'll be the first time a president has slept with another president. If Donald wins, it'll be the first time a billionaire has moved into public housing."

Luckily, we've reached the end...

20. "The real winner tomorrow is all of us, because this election is finally over."

God Bless America.

Xoxo,

Eavesdropping Girl

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
