On October 8, 2015, three-time Grammy winner Brad Paisley will be having a free show at the Florida State University as part of his County Nation College Tour. The concert, which will be held on a Wednesday, will be a nice pregame celebration before the Florida State Seminoles take on rivals the University of Miami Hurricanes at home later that weekend.
The concert will be held at Langford Green, located right outside of Doak Cambell Stadium, next to the infamous “Unconquered” statue. FSU is the first of five schools the country star recently added to his tour and will be joined by special guest star Eric Paslay. The performance is bound to bring out a large crowd, considering Paisley filled the Civic Center last time he was in Tallahassee in 2014.
The Country Nation College Tour presented by Zaxby’s is named in honor of the country singer’s new single, ‘Country Nation’. Rolling Stonedescribed Paisley’s ‘Country Nation’ as, “a tribute to the college teams that give Americans an identity beyond the 9-to-5 uniforms they wear every day — and it's filled with all the requisite images and sounds for a modern-day, somewhat patriotic country tune, including souped-up Chevys and twangy radio stations.” As if FSU fans need another reason to see Paisley’s free show, ‘Country Nation’ contains the lyrics, “We’re Seminoles,” in the hit song.
