8 Reasons Why Eagles Fans Are Obviously The Best Fans In The World

Obviously, being an Eagles fan since the beginning has been a string of disappointments with glimmers of hope that keep us holding on to the dream of becoming Super Bowl Champions for the first time ever.

Before the Super Bowl was around, we did clinch a few National Championships, the first being in 1948 ahead of the Cardinals. Throughout the triumphs and failures, the successful drafts and untimely injuries, the Eagles continue to put their fans through a rollercoaster of emotions year after year.

This year, however, we are experiencing a new team unlike any we’ve seen for decades. This team has fluidity, emotion, determination, and talent. Eagles fans never fail to be there for their team through it all...but when we’re winning, the fans are unlike any other. The loudest, most passionate group of fans that unite no matter where the team travels, for a city that is so close to our hearts, is just one of the many reasons why Eagles fans are the best fans in the world.

1. PASSION, PASSION (and louder), PASSION.

When surrounded by Eagles fans, there’s never a dull moment. We are full of opinions, history, dedication, more opinions, and most importantly, a ton of passion. We are loud, we are obnoxious, but we are real. That fact alone is why we will never stop supporting the team we love, win or lose.

2. We never miss a game.

Time isn’t always on our side but there’s never an instance where we don’t do everything in our power to change that. Whether you’re listening on Philadelphia sports radio, watching on the big screen at Xfinity Live, watching at home on the TV with family and good food, or attending the game while enjoying over-priced beers, we won’t miss a minute of game time.

3. The chant.

Honestly, if you don’t hear this cheer at least a few times a day during a successful season, especially one like this years, I’d be wildly shocked. “Hit em low, hit em high and watch those Eagles fly, fly Eagles fly on the road to victory…….E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!” Over and over and over again.

4. Tailgates on tailgates on tailgates.

Nothing brings Eagles fans together better than a good ole fashion tailgate. Equipped with plenty of Bud Light, buffalo chicken dip, tostitos, wings, meatballs, and rolls, Eagles fans will never go hungry or stay sober. Whether it’s a neighborhood backyard cookout, an in-home feast by the fire, or a pre-game party in the lot outside the stadium, tailgates are an essential part of game day for Eagles fans.

5. We are rough around the edges.

Like I said before, there’s never a dull moment when you’re surrounded by passionate Eagles fans. Whether it’s a screaming match with a Cowboys fan, fists up against a Patriots fan who looked at them the wrong way, or roughhousing with a loud mouth Giants fan, we won’t keep our mouths shut or our guards down. You’re in Eagles territory now baby, and even if we’re not on our home turf, don’t discount our ability to make you remember why our team is the best

6. Philadelphia is our city.

As an Eagles fan, we bleed green. Our history is what supports us and is the primary reason there is such an unspoken tight-knit bond between our people/fans. Rocky Balboa will always remind us of why we fight until the end. Philadelphia is the city of brotherly love and we will never misrepresent that fact. Whether you’re climbing the Rocky steps and listening to the Eye of the Tiger or quoting the movie 24/7 to pump yourself up for the games, the "Rocky" movie series will always depict our city so well and give us so much hope. Oh and it’s Philadelphia, not “Philly”...get it right.

7. The face paint and costumes impress.

Eagles fans are crazy to say the very least and one of the best parts about us is what we wear (or don’t wear), how we wear it, where we wear it, and of course, the face/body paint that is always so fun to see. Costumes too, you can’t forget about the costumes, most of which roast the Cowboys or Giants and are absolutely legendary. Whether you’re painting your 90 year old mothers face bright green (heard it on the Mike and Mike show last week I swear), or spellings EAGLES out with your buddies on your stomach’s in 10 degree weather, it’s all about the end result... an Eagles win!

8. The player and fan bond is special.

You’ll never catch a player being anything but an Eagles fan's best friend. The connection between the team and the fans is something so special and another reason why we will stick by our team no matter what. Let’s do this Philadelphia….E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES! *Rocky theme song plays in the background*

At the end of the day, this is our team, our city, and no one deserves the title as much as we do after the season we’ve had. Eagles are the absolute best fans in the world and the more we continue to show up for our team, the greater they're gonna get.

Carson Wentz, we love you for showing this team that with or without you, we can take on anything thrown at us. Eagles, baby! Passion, dedication, and brotherly love are all we need to make this the best season yet.

*Knocks on wood* (because another thing about Eagles fans… we are very superstitious).

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
