"Make America Great Again"; I doubt there is anyone who doesn't know where this phrase comes from and what it means. In the past months, Donald Trump and his bombastic style of speaking has made him into one of the most controversial figures in the United States, and possibly the World. Many people say President Trump is making situations worse in the United States, and in a sense, they are correct.
1. Bringing Out Hate and Anger within the Liberals
Right after Trump's election, there were a series of riots underneath the movement of "Love Trumps Hate". People participating in this "movement" indiscriminately vandalized and destroyed both public and private property. Using "they support Donald Trump" as a justification, liberals verbally and even physically assault Republicans. The most famous incident being a group of black males attacking an old man and stealing his car because he voted for Trump.
2. Increase in Fake News
With the emergence of Donald Trump, the notion of Fake News has been brought up. The most infamous source being BuzzFeed, left-leaning news outlets start to produce more propaganda; false and/or exaggerated news, for the purpose of making the President look like a terrible person. Even a CNN producer admitted to the Trump-Russia collusion being mostly "bullshit" for ratings.
3. Increased tension between Liberals and Conservatives
After the election of Donald Trump, politics have become very controversial, as Trump became one of the most loud-voiced and bombastic presidential candidates. Liberals hate conservatives for voting in Trump, and conservatives hate Liberals for their drastic actions in expressing their discontent.
4. Turning college students into little kids
Seriously, at 19+ years of age you need cry rooms and therapy dogs? College campuses across the nation provided cry rooms, hot chocolate, therapy dogs, counseling, and even went as far as cancelling exams because their students are so delicate that when their choice president wasn't elected, they mentally regress back into their kindergarten years.
5. Increase in hate crimes… committed/reported by liberals.
In order to make Trump supporters look bad, liberals started to take it into their own hands to desecrate the Republican image. Out of 26 reports filed under hate crimes following the election of Trump, 24 of those were falsely reported, or committed by Clinton voters. University of Michigan- Ann Arbor being the most infamous for false reports, even my University of Illinois had a fabricated report of a man taking out a knife on a Muslim girl inside a MTD bus.
6. People focused more on making Donald look bad than making America great again.
Instead of rioting and smashing peoples' cars, why don't you try volunteering at a soup kitchen or helping the homeless instead?
7. Persecution of young republicans on college campuses.
This is more of a personal experience, but when I suggested we give Donald Trump a chance in a discussion/lecture class, immediately everyone, including the professor, turned hostile towards me. They told me that my opinions are wrong, Donald Trump is evil, and Republicans are hateful people.
8. Turning CNN into a joke
CNN is so focused on trashing the President it is starting to hurt its own image. I used to watch CNN, as it was a reliable news source, but since the 2016 election it was become very biased and stoops so low as to report unverified information and threaten private citizens.
