There is something so special about a dog. They make everyone happy and remind us that every single person should be loved. They give us a sense of hope for mankind because they receive nurturing care and love that teaches us how everyone should be treated, in a way that would truly make this world a better place to live. Here are just a couple reasons why dogs are absolutely everything.
1. They are adorable.
Any breed, size, shape, they make are hearts melt. Even when they do something bad you can’t stay mad at them because of how cute they are. You also cannot turn down petting a cute dog and you know it.
2. They are so cute even when they do something completely ridiculous.
Anything from spinning in circles or growling at nothing. You can’t help but smile; they can always cheer you up from doing the dumbest things.
3. They know when you are sad.
Every single time I’m upset about something my dogs seems to know exactly how I’m feeling. Every time I have been sick, my dogs don’t leave my side.
4. Dogs act like humans.
Some dogs can sing, walk on two legs, even open the fridge to grab a beer. What is not more perfect than a dog that can also act as possible best friend?
5. They are the ultimate protectors.
My dogs are guard dogs. Don’t get me wrong they are sweet as can be until someone tries to mess with me. Walking a 150-pound pit-bull has its perks when you don’t want to be bothered.
6. Dogs help us exercise.
My dogs need to be walked constantly. They have so much energy so taking them on frequent walks/runs helps me tire them out and also get some exercise for myself as well.
7. The ultimate cuddle.
For those of us who are single and or not seeking a relationship, having a dog means you never have to sleep alone. By sleeping alone I mean no personal space what so ever because they sleep right on top of your head.
8. Dog videos make us cry.
We all have come to accept this fact that videos of puppies will make us hysterical but yet we continue to watch them. The videos of dogs getting so overwhelmed when their owners come home from deployment, forget about it. These videos are almost addicting.
9. The way the make you feel after you haven’t seen them all day.
I don’t think any feeling will ever amount to that of coming home to your dog after being gone all day. Maybe you ran to the store for an hour and to them it was a lifetime.
10. They look amazing dressed in clothes.
Dogs hate wearing clothes yet there is something about a pup dressed in head to toe that just makes them even more adorable than they already are.
11. They will never make us doubt our love for animals and mankind.
Dogs give us unconditional love. They exude happiness that brings out the best in people. There is a reason why they are man’s best friend.
We truly may never know exactly what we did on this earth to deserve these amazing and exciting creatures we call dogs. Dogs remind us why everyone deserves love. The bond you create with your pup can truly last a lifetime and we are so lucky to live in a world where dogs exist.
