The Cleveland Browns Should Relocate To LA And Here's Why

As a Cleveland Browns fan, it has been difficult to watch this team each and every Sunday this season. While the games, most of us only stay until halftime anyways. Maybe it is time for the Cleveland Browns to have a change of scenery. It worked out well when they moved to Baltimore in 1996, and Los Angeles is in the process of shopping around for a football team. So why not just give them the Cleveland Browns? Currently, they are not part of that conversation, but they ought to be! Although Clevelanders' hearts will forever bleed orange and brown, here just a few of the many reasons why the team needs to take their "talent" elsewhere.

1. We have moved before.

...And it worked out well! In 1996, Cleveland Browns owner Art Modell made the announcement that the team would move to Baltimore, Maryland. Hence becoming the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have been successful, reaching the playoffs eight times since 2000, in addition to winning Super Bowl XXXV and Super Bowl XLVII.

2. LA is where it is at.

As far as weather goes, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else besides California. I don’t know about you, but I am not a big fan of the cold. In Cleveland, we deal with brutal weather and blizzards galore. In LA, you don’t have to worry about that. Average temperature in the winter is between 48-68 degrees. I will take that kind of any day. It really does make for great football.

3. LA is made for championships.

When you think of LA in a sports aspect, the City of Angels is known for champions. They have a total of 22 championships from their professional sports teams. Speaking of championships, the Lakers have a total of 16 NBA Championships. Our team deserves to be in city full of legends.

4. Let's talk about fame and fortune.

While we really do care about our city of Cleveland, but where is all the fame at? Los Angeles is known for their famous celebrities and amazing homes. A city like that is something Cleveland would and should love to experience.

5. We have enough success to win a championship.

Why have a losing football team like the Browns bring us down when we have a lot of success with our other sports teams? We have the Cleveland Cavaliers who have been successful in both eras with LeBron James, as well as the Cleveland Indians who have put up winning seasons? I would be willing to give up a football team for other professional sports teams that will lift us up.

Cleveland rocks, and we can only hope and strive for success with each of our professional teams. However, seeing the Browns put us down season after season is getting old. Frankly, we're sick and tired of it.This city needs, wants, and deserves a team strong enough to accomplish a championship title. The Cleveland Cavaliers came close in 2007 and 2015, and the Cleveland Indians were almost nailed it in the 1990’s and 2007. Maybe a change is good for this football team. As a lifelong Cleveland fan, I would approve of and urge the Cleveland Browns to relocate to Los Angeles. It really is a win-win-win situation!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
