November 2nd, 2016. A day that will forever be remembered by every Chicago Cubs fan around the world. Even people who are not Cubs fans will remember that day as the day the Chicago Cubs rocked the baseball world and left the city electric.

Millions of fans worldwide celebrated the 108 year drought on that night. The city was roaring, and the tears were rolling for many of the die-hard fans. Fans felt the emotions for days to come and they were joined by many famous faces, including the passionate Bill Murray.

Several days later, the city of Chicago is still electric. After the Champions parade in downtown Chicago on Friday, November 4th, Chicago streets were lined with garbage from over 5 million fans. This astonishing number of fans resulted in the parade being No. 7 on the 'Largest Gathering in Human History' list.

The fans are not the only one's with a long celebration tour, the players of the Chicago Cubs have been on the move non-stop since that historic night. From being in Disney parades, appearing on 'Saturday Night Live', and celebrating with each other and loved ones, the players the world has come to love have been ecstatic to share this glorious feeling with all of Chicago.

Social Media has been dominated by the outpouring of support and love for Chicago's number one baseball team. Fans have been the main contributors to this social media craze, however, it's not just them. Support has come from fellow Chicago teams such as the White Sox and the Blackhawks, and even their rivals and recent opponents in the 2016 World Series, the Cleveland Indians.

The celebrations have run into the week after the win. With Chicago holding events to continue the celebration, from Chicago Cubs second baseman, Javier Baez, appearing at Macy's in Chicago to sign autographs, to Wrigley Field letting fans sign bricks to signify that all of the late Cubs fans were a part of this huge accomplishment. People were able to dedicate a brick to a loved one who have passed before their favorite team could achieve the highest baseball accomplishment a team can achieve.

As more and more days pass, Cubs fan everywhere are determined to not let this high end. Chicago has never been more energized and excited, and it is evident. Bars have been packed wall to wall, Wrigleyville has been flooded with masses of people, and families everywhere have gotten together to share this beautiful, historic event with each other.

No matter where they are or who they're with, Cubs fans everywhere are doing everything they can to continue feel the way the did the night of November 2nd. Enjoy it my fellow Cubs fans, it's our right. Let's celebrate like it's 1908 and never let this feeling pass.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
